Ericaceous Compost - can it be used for other plants?

By mistake I've bought ericaceous compost what can I use this for other than the plants listed on the bag i.e. azalea/heathers/camelias. Thank you

Hello Adena,

Ericaceous compost is an acidic compost that's used for growing specific types of plants, camellias and rhododendrons etc, but it can be used for pretty much any type of plants that don't do well in alkaline soil, but it is possible the PH may become too low, next time you purchase compost just mix in.

Thank you for your reply Bob. I will mix a bit in each time I get a new bag.
