Hello Pete,
First thing I advise is get rid of the rabbits and moles, if the bumps are not too large you could top dress your lawn, or just where the bumps are and use a lawn leveller / a luke. Spread the top dressing over the whole lawn or the specific area and drag the leveller across the lawn the top dressing getting pulled into the low parts of the lawn.
You can dig a deep ditch around your garden and put in a mesh wire this will stop the rabbits burrowing under the existing fence, put in place mole traps, think carefully about rotovating, your on clay soil, and your going to churn up largish clumps of grass and clay, which has got to be removed prior to levelling the soil, you can of course use a small digger to remove the existing grass to a required level, then I would suggest covering the whole area with decent top soil, you can then consider seed or turf, another option is to hire a turf cutter to remove the existing grass, spread over the area with top soil and see if you can relay some of the old grass, and re seed, or have you tried giving the area a good going over with a heavy roller, this wants doing when the ground is just damp, but rolling does compress the soil or clay in your garden.
You can buy a conditioner for clay, it breaks the clay down into fairly manageable soil, but dependant on price, you could hire a turf cutter, remove the grass, then rotovate and at the same time using the rotovator dig in the soil conditioner.
Be good if can let the forum know how you are going to tackle this job, and how it all works out.
Regards Bob.
