Baobab- homegrown

Hi everyone! I have a problem with one of my baobabs (I grew them from seeds, they are 4 yrs old): last winter it was probably hit by sudden cold and it seemed to have died.

I cut some dry branches and last july it sprouted again, but i a weird way, it seemed that many little leaves were fighting to come out, but none could (See pic1 and 2)

I thought that it happened because the distal branches went dry and baobabs usually sprout only from the top of distal branches, but now I had to move it inside and foud this  (pic 3 and 4)...it has nearly no roots (it is not very clear but here I raised the whole plant out of the pot).

I need help! What should I do now? Clean roots? Change soil? Cut more branches? The roots as they are qould be perfect for a bonsai...but it has to survive first!

thank you all!

Hi @danymazz79

Could you reupload your pictures please as they haven’t been uploaded correctly. Then the Ninjas can assist.

Thanks!

Lee
