looking for a very tough plant(s)

Hi,

I'm looking for a very tough plant(s) that can survive harsh conditions as follows:

1. no sunlight at all.

2. fully submerged in water.

3. can survive high temperature (35-40° C).

if all the 3 condintions combined is not possible, I might use LED growing lights to overcome problem no.1.

Regards

Hi @hasph

I'm afraid I don't know of any plants that can survive those conditions. Other than some form of aquatic/deep sea plants which I don't specialise in.

Can I ask what and where you are planting?

Thanks

Hi @lee

Thanks for your reply

Can I ask what and where you are planting?

I want to design an indoor ecological hot tub (based on eclogical/natural pool

Lets say I'll remove problem no.2 from the equation, will basically be  left with problem no.3

any idea on such plants who can survive 35-40C?

Regard

Hi @hasph

You'll need to consider extreme desert plants for those temperatures which I'm afraid I don't specialise in.

It maybe better to use house plants around the tub and use some grow lights. It will probably be in keeping more with the aquatic theme!

All the best

Lee
