we have had an oak sleeper retaining wall in our garden for 3 years with an oak planter to the left. Face of sleepers has never been treated with oil or painted etc.
other sleepers in garden and steps are tested softwood.
I am now deciding whether to use OSMO clear UV Oil on the sleepers (however as they are 3 years old don’t have the best oak look now) to keep the look natural or to paint all the sleepers in the garden a colour.
I don’t know if a colour like grey would look too much across all of these sleepers?
what are your thoughts? Would you go OIL or. Colour? If a colour what do you think would be a good choice?
thanks all
