Christmas border shrubs and ideas for winter garden displays?

Odd time of year to be thinking about it I know, but I’m after some ideas for hardy evergreens and any other good things to go in the Christmas / winter interest bed we’ve started. Clay soil and breezy off the fields at the mo, but planted Thuja placata hedge which will eventually give some shelter. The area currently has a Nordman fir (which we’ll decorate at Christmas) and a selection of hollies. Once the bed is more established hope to get some ivy in too - hopefully be able to do some nice Christmas arrangements/decorations with some bits. Any ideas? PS we’ve not turned over all the grass yet, and the fir needs moving more into the centre of the bed I think as it will eventually get really big I know. Thanks in advance all 🙂
