    Wisteria not flowering.

    Hi there,

I’ve had this wisteria for three years now and it is not flowering. It is on a south facing patio in Rugby, midlands.

    Do you have any tips?

    Thank you so much,

    Rachael

    Hi @freckleface

Thanks for your question. The main reason that people's Wisteria climbing plants don't flower is LACK OF PRUNING! This is the bit that most beginner gardeners freak out a bit on. But trust me, twice-yearly pruning of even new wisterias and young plants pays dividends.

Please read my guide on how to prune your wisteria for flowers and or watch my video guide below, that should sort out your wisteria!

    All the best

Thanks very much Lee. That is super useful advice. I notice that the plant has also not grown much. The picture you see here above, that is the total plant - I've not cropped any out of the top. I don't have much to prune as it hardly grown. Do you think the pot is big enough?

    Thank you!

    Rachael
