I bought a pot which held tiny miniature roses, from a supermarket. There were 3 different colours in the pot. When spring passed and they had finished blooming I planted them outdoors. They have flowered again this summer and while 1 type has tiny flowers, the other 2 have full-sized rose heads on the short, miniature-leaved stems. They flop over as soon as they open. What has happened here; will the leaves eventually start to grow bigger, too? Or will I have disproportionately huge-headed roses forever?!

It sounds like the 'miniature roses' are actually just small cuttings or propagations, which is why two of them have reverted back to their normal size. Most roses are grafted, which controls their size, but cuttings will always revert back to their original growth habit!
